Spotify subscribers just need to sign into their account via the Alexa app for iOS and Android. But that changes today! Amazon announced that Echo just added support for Spotify Premium users. What you haven’t been able to do is ask, "Alexa, play my flute rock playlist on Spotify" and have it work. The Pebble would vibrate and the Bluetooth icon would show up on the watch. The watch app will either automatically connect with the Spotify app on your phone, prompt you to pair, or require you to type in your credentials. And of course, you can use Echo as a Bluetooth speaker-one that conveniently pairs to your device if you simply ask it to. This was essential for me to make sure I didnt leave the house without my cell. Depending on which Samsung Galaxy watch you own, the sign-in process for Spotify may be a little different. One reason for that is it’s hard to pin down just what it is: A Bluetooth speaker with a wonderful lady named Alexa trapped inside, a note-taker and shopping-list-maker, a smarthome hub, a loyal companion in this lonely world. Please make sure you set correct Notify Between times and that you are in correct time-frame when youre testing the notifications.
